這個版本的作業系統，基於 Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS，估計很快就迎來 8.0 (based on ubuntu 24.04)。
因爲有點厭煩了 Zorin OS，這個系統時不時地不能進入待機模式、黑屏卡死、firefox卡住必須強制退出，所以就換到 EOS 先。

（transmission，apt 方式預裝爲3.0版本，無法直觀地分辨下載的百分比。解決方案是升級到4.0.5版本，可以用商店內的 flatpak 版，問題是新增到Dock欄雙圖標；或是增加 ppa：add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/transmission
settings
開機報錯的設定，編輯 /etc/default/grub，此行修改爲 GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet nosgx splash loglevel=3"，之後 update-grub
待機模式的設定，sudo apt install pm-utils
sudo gedit /etc/systemd/logind.conf
(remove # from bellow)
HandleSuspendKey=suspend
HandleLidSwitch=suspend
HandleLidSwitchDocked=suspend
HandleHibernateKey=suspend
按下開關機鍵，可以直接進入待機。測試了兩天，能夠按時進入待機模式
鍾意之處
初戀也好，這是我遇見的第一個由心底喜歡的 linux 作業系統
配色、佈局，不論我嘗試哪一個發行版，都不自覺地向她靠攏
一個細節：eog打開圖片，拖動到一個檔案夾內，會詢問是複製、轉移還是建立連結
希望 Elementary OS 8 從 x11 切換到 Wayland 桌面環境之後，依舊能夠繼續優雅
